Imagining the Indian will be taking part in the 25th UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival), which was founded in 1998 by Stanford educator and film critic Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Imagining the Indian will be taking part in the Santa Fe International Film Festival(SFiFF). SFiFF is the premiere forum for international and independent cinema in the area. Focusing on artistic excellence, SFiFF serves as a creative center for film year-round, and as a presentation of the year's top films each October.

A screening of Imagining the Indian will be the closing event at The International Conference of Indigenous Archives, Libraries, and Museums.
